Welcome to CarBud ("we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, and the services we provide (collectively, the "Service"). By using our Service, you agree to these Terms.
CarBud is a platform that connects individuals seeking automotive services ("Customers") with third-party automotive service providers ("Service Providers"). We act as a neutral intermediary to facilitate bookings and payments. We are not a Service Provider and do not perform automotive services ourselves.
You must register for an account to access certain features. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. We have two types of users: Customers and Service Providers, each with different roles and capabilities on the platform.
For Customers: You can book services with Service Providers through our platform. By booking, you agree to pay the total amount for the services, which will be processed through our third-party payment provider, Paystack. CarBud is not responsible for the quality of the service provided.
For Service Providers: By listing your services, you agree to honor the bookings made through our platform at the price listed. We will facilitate payment to you, minus our application fee, via our payment partner, Paystack. You are responsible for the quality and legality of the services you provide.
Customers may leave reviews and ratings for Service Providers. You grant CarBud a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute any content you post. You agree not to post content that is defamatory, obscene, or fraudulent. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. CarBud does not warrant the quality, safety, or legality of the services provided by Service Providers. We are not liable for any damages—direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential—arising from your use of the Service or from any transaction between Customers and Service Providers. Our liability to you for any cause whatsoever will at all times be limited to the amount paid, if any, by you to us for the Service.
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which our company is based, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of changes by posting the new Terms on this page. Your continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
